Todd is a San Diego native and graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. Prior to becoming a sports performance specialist, Todd worked 6 years as a certified orthopedic technologist, assisting in a variety of surgical procedures.
Coach Todd has more than 10 years experience in sports performance training and adult fitness. He has designed programs for numerous sport teams, clubs and schools. Notably he has served as the strength and conditioning coach for Carlsbad Football and La Costa Canyon Volleyball teams.
Todd has trained professional Athletes from NFL, NBA, MLS, MLB and Rugby.
Todd enjoys playing sports and being active, continues to play in local football and basketball recreational leagues. |
The founder of North County Coast (NCC) Speed Lab is Paul Publico. Coach "Pub," played college football at UC Davis, earning undergraduate degrees in History and Sociology. Coach Pub also has a masters degree in education.
Having coached high school football, baseball and basketball, being able to help develop young athletes is his passion. Since 2006, Coach Pub has trained NCAA football, baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer, lacrosse and water polo athletes.
Coach Pub is a member of the National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association and has attended seminars at the Unversity of Washington, California-Berkeley, University of Tennesse, University of Southern California, as well as with Coach Carlisle (Director of Under Armor Sports Performance). Coach Pub is lifelong learner, and constantly seeks to be on the cutting edge of sports performance.
Currently, Coach Pub is the defensive coordinator at Carlsbad High School, Commissioner of NCC Friday Night Lights, and married to his wonderful wife Sarah Jean. |
