Camp Facts: Paul Publico’s PUBLIC SPEED CAMP is great way to help young athletes improve their overall speed, agility and effeciency. The coaching staff emphasizes proper running fundamentals as well as flexibility. Speed, agility, explosiveness, balance, core strength and dynamic flexibility need to be taught, and PUBLIC SPEED CAMP’s coaching staff is passionate about helping young athletes reach their goals.


Camp Staff: PUBLIC SPEED CAMP is designed, organized and implemented by former Los Alamitos High School and University of California, Davis graduate, Paul Publico. The coaching staff includes camp director Blaise Smith (St. Joseph’s High School, Santa Maria), Publico’s former college teammate at UC Davis. Smith and Publico are both certified personal trainers and have First-Aid/CPR training. The coaching staff always instructs in a positive manner while doing its best to make training safe, and most of all FUN!


Camp Program/Location: Tuesday and Thursday at 5-6:15 pm and 10 am-12 on Saturday's @ Los Alamitos High School. On the Athletic fields, behind the LAHS pool wall.


Equipment, Registration and Cost:

PUBLIC SPEED CAMP is $20 per training session. 3-day, and 12-day passes are available as well. Payment can be made in three forms: Check or Cash, or by using Pay Pal online at publicspeedcamp.com Checks are payable to PUBLIC SPEED CAMP. Take care of your body: PUBLIC SPEED CAMP urges all its athletes to fully hydrate, as well as eat 2-4 hours prior to training. Every athlete needs to bring a towel, two bottles of water, cleats, athletic shoes and a great attitude to every workout!


I hereby authorize the staff of PUBLIC SPEED CAMP to act on my behalf according to their best judgment in any emergency requiring medical attention. I hereby waive and release PUBLIC SPEED CAMP and staff from any and all liability for any injuries incurred while at training sessions.
